Lourdes Corvo

Lourdes Corvo, Esq.

Ms. Corvo graduated from the University of Miami in 1981 with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and received her juris doctor in 1985 from the University of San  Francisco.  In 1986 she became an assistant Public Defender for Miami-Dade County, Florida until she began private practice in 1997. She is a past President of the Miami Lakes Bar Association and currently sits as an active Director  Her firm, Lourdes Corvo, P.A. concentrates in the areas of real estate, wills and probate and criminal law.  She is a member of the Florida Bar (1986), the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (1996), the American Bar Association and a member of Attorneys Title Insurance Fund (1998) and Fidelity Title Insurance Company (2005).  She has lectured to mortgage brokers and real estate brokers in the areas of title and closing procedures.

Perla Sole Calas
Ms. Calas graduated from Florida International University in May 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in International Relations. In 1990 she obtained her juris doctor from Florida State University and immediately began her career as an assistant public defender in Miami-Dade County, Florida. In 1996 she became an Assistant Attorney for South Florida Water Management District in their litigation department litigating in the areas of real estate and right-of-way enforcement, condemnation/eminent domain, and permitting.  She appeared on behalf of the district in numerous cases in state administrative and circuit courts and in federal court. In March 2000 she went into private practice through her firm, Perla Sole Calas, P.A. where she concentrates in the area of real estate including permitting, land use, condominium/association law, condo conversions, title closings and civil litigation. She has been published in various articles concerning permitting and enforcement by state agencies and has given training lectures to lawyers and engineers in matters concerning permits and enforcement.  Recently she has given training lectures to mortgage brokers and real estate brokers in the areas of title and closing.

Ms. Calas is a member of the Florida Bar (1991), the American Bar Association, Fidelity Title Insurance Company (2005) and Attorneys Title Insurance Fund (2000).  She has been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern (1996) and Middle Districts (1998) and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals (1998).
